This is a sad story, my beloved, pampered white 1993 Lexus SC300, preserved with care for over 25 years, is no more. Hydroplaning on a slick blacktop road, it went head on into a dirt bank and received considerable front end damage - repairable of course but, at 75 years of age and not in great health, it’s a project I cant take on. This was a beautiful car, the famous 6 cylinder engine doesn’t use a drop of oil, the smooth automatic transmission and rear end are all just as good – I was set to drive this car another 10 years. I bought it 3 years ago with 97,000 miles – it now has 125,000 – it has a Clear Title of course. Before this sad event, one could eat off the engine – it is a 27 year old car but it performed and was as reliable as any new car - and is way cooler. The damage stops at the radiator, nothing touched the engine The full leather gray seats are as new, not a tear, rip or worn spot. The airbags did deploy and the windshield does have a crack. The body from the front clip back is excellent, doors, rear section etc. The air conditioning, radio and all else was working fine. This car is for anyone needing an excellent, relatively low miles drive train and/or a whole host of other parts. Original CARFAX and other papers included. The car is located near Carlisle, Penna -a trailer or roll-back would be optimal to haul the car away. I hate to see it go but the restoration of this car, certainly doable, is beyond me at this point in life. Offers will be considered, Please inquire with any questions.
