Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1993 Land Rover Range Rover is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great. Vehicle Details This is a 1993 Land Rover Range Rover Classic County LWB with the 4.2L engine. It has a clean New Mexico title with no accidents in its history. The body is in very good condition. The original black paint is faded, but I think presents well with exception to some extra faded paint on the roof, hood, and tailgate. The original black leather interior is very nice with no major signs of wear. The carpet, headliner, and door cards are all very nice also. All the glass is good with no cracks. The gauges all function and even the clock still works. All lights and blinkers are good with no issues. Heated seats and heated windows work as do the power mirrors etc. The original spare tire and jack look to be untouched. I doubt they were ever used. The engine runs well with no smoke or blowby and stays cool. It starts right up and revs without hesitation. All the electric windows and sunroof work and seal perfectly. The power seats are functioning in all positions. The radio is not factory, but works well. The air ride suspension has been replaced with coil springs. All that being said, this Rover is still somewhat of a project. It sat for a couple years needing repairs, but just recently got a new kickdown cable along with new transmission fluid, filter, and pan gasket. I also gave it a good tune up with NGK parts. It has new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor. It just got a fresh air filter, fuel filter, engine oil/filter, and transfer case fluid. It does have known problems. The yellow check engine light is on for an unknown reason since the engine runs well. It has a couple fluid leaks. I see oil on the lower part of the engine, but it does not drip. It should seal up with a new pan gasket. The tires all match and have good tread, but the driver's side rear sat deflated for too long and when having it repaired I was told it should be changed. It holds air now and rolls fine, but should be replaced for safety. Exact mileage is unknown. The last owner said the instrument cluster was changed, but didn't know when. The condition of the vehicle is too good for the miles to be super high. There was a past attempt to refinish the interior wood. Some of it looks very nice, but the dash has visible flaws. The center console is cracked. It functions, but with repairs. There are light scratches on the dash board, but it is not cracked and has a nice new looking black cover that goes over it. The right blinker indicator needs a new bulb to function on the dash. The rear window wiper works, but the washer does not and the washer fluid refill light stays on even when the tank is full. The exterior body panels are very solid with only a couple small door dings to mention. No rust is visible on the floors or cargo area from underneath, but the front left inner wheel well has a rust spot and should be repaired. The rear hatch window frame has rust starting along the bottom under the seal. Everything else looks very solid. I don't see any rust around the door jams or rocker panels. The vehicle's frame underneath is perfect with no issues at all. The rear wheel wells look good also as do all the other window seals. I have tried very hard to examine this vehicle thoroughly so there are no surprises, but anybody is welcome to come see it for themselves or send an inspector. The forementioned issues will need addressed, but once corrected I'm sure this Rover will make its new owner very happy. Call or e-mail anytime.
