This Cobra is the first Cobra off the assembly line in the year 1993. It is the first “production” black 1993 Cobra sold by Ford with a sunroof and grey cloth interior. A total of 21 1993 Cobras were made in the year 1992. Most of them were pre production models or kept by Ford and never saw the light of day. Numbers 1-18 were pre production vehicles. Number 19 (made on 12-17-92 along with two other cars as a trial run) was the only car made in Vibrant Red Clearcoat and has undergone a full restoration after a severe accident and high mileage. Car number 20 is a ghost and car 21 was kept by Ford and never released to the public. This cobra is documented as #22, which is the first Cobra produced in the year 1993. It was made on 1-19-93 which is a coincidence 1-1993 (I think Ford planned this, first car in 1993). As you can see in the pics, this car has the flat side upper intake (which is found only on the first 100 or so 93 cobras ever made). The car is number one of only 327 made in this color combination. It has a good non original paint job. Sold and enjoyed in TN so no rust. Car has been driven around 5k mile per year. The exhaust is not original, but sounds AMAZING. Mechanically I’d drive it anywhere, motor is STRONG and AC is COLD.
