About this vehicle This 1993 Ford F-150 is a project vehicle with updates to the exterior. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven. Vehicle Details 1993 F150 Lightning. VIN 8=R. Fresh out of the barn! No Reserve! I have owned this truck since 2013 and licensed it through 2017, though it has not seen any use since 2015. I checked the fluids, put in a battery and she died right up and ran very well especially considering the age of the fuel in it. It does have a MN prior salvage stamped title. I don't know why it has a prior salvage title but when I got the truck the bed was damaged and the lightning spec wheels were missing. There was also light damage to the passenger door, and it appeared that the previous owner kept it that way and never fixed it. This could have been enough to salvage the vehicle at that time, but this is pure soeculation. I sourced a very nice flare side box and doors shortly after I purchased it to replace damaged parts in a package deal. The doors have been professionally "jambed" in the correct color prior to installation. At that time I also installed a used radiator support, LH fender, valance, and front bumper due to light rust, as shown in pictures. I took the truck for a short drive and all accessories work including the a/c and cruise, though the A/C likely needs to be topped up. The wiper motor is noisy and the power steering hose is leaking and all fluid has leaked out. Other than that the engine runs great and it shifts well. The tires are quite old and do not hold air for more than a week or so, so I do not recommend driving it. They are also quite out of round at this point. Can easily be driven into trailer or transport. I have no way of knowing if the miles are correct, but it does still have the Lightning specific 120mph speedometer, so I'd guess that they are.
