Vehicle description
Up for auction is my 1993 RT / TT Stealth. I purchased this vehicle in the summer of 2021 to have a fun, summer driver. It fit the bill perfectly. Took it to a bunch of cars and coffee events and random cruises.
If you"re looking for a mint, show quality car, this is NOT the Stealth for you. If you want a good looking, good running car with minimal flaws, I think this would be an excellent choice.
Exterior wise the car looks good from 10-15 feet. The paint shows some swirl marks, chips, and scratches here and there. The rear bumper seems to have been painted at one point as it is a different shade of red than the rest of the car. The "99 front clip has a tear a few inches long on the underside which you cannot see unless you"re on the ground looking by the intercooler. I have added new driver and passenger side window mouldings as the orginals were sun faded and damaged. I also added a set of SSR GGV01 18x8.5 wheels that are wrapped in Falken Azenis RT615K 235/40r/18 tires with less than 750 miles on them.
The interior is in really nice condition. The front seats have been redone and I will include the leather for the rear seats. There are some small nicks and scratches on several trim pieces and door panels, but overall the interior is extremely clean. A new head unit was also installed within the past few months as the stock unit would no longer turn on. There is a boost gauge, and aem wideband on the pillar.
The engine shows a few modifications that date back to the early 2010"s. A front mount intercooler, 19t turbos, and several intercooler hardpipes are installed. The previous owner said they had replaced the clutch, flywheel, and did a 60k service before I purchased the car. The Stealth also has an AEM ecu installed.
The heat, air conditioner, cruise control, and all other accessories work without issue.
Known issues:
1. I believe the stock antenna or cable is broken. The head unit won"t pick up any signal besides local channels. I usually use Bluetooth, so it wasn"t a huge issue for me.
2. The car runs rich under partial throttle. I"m assuming this is due to the old school precision injectors. This does not affect driveability at all, as I just made an 850 mile trip non-stop, but I"m very upfront about the condition and don"t want the winning bidder to have any surprises.
Payment: Winning bidder is required to send a non refundable $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end. The rest of the payment is to be paid in full within 7 days via wire transfer, cashiers check, or cash in person. The car will not leave my possession until all funds clear my account.
