About this vehicle This 1993 Chevrolet Corvette is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes This car will not disappoint.! Vehicle Details Up for sale is this beautiful 1993 ZR-1 I purchased this car a few months ago from a member on eBay. I was very disappointed when I received the vehicle. It had many problems with it and the only option I had was to fix them properly and give this car a new life. I fixed and went through the entire rear end which was leaking oil onto the exhaust system. the reverse light transmission switch wasn’t working either…replaced it with the correct factory one…, all new seals and bearings, took down all drive shafts and got them redone with new spicer U joints and had all the aluminum cleaned up nicely. I installed all new polyurethane bushings in rear….rear main seal on the transmission including new factory oils. Fixed problems with cooling fans, HVAC and audio system. I had to order NOS Bose factory speakers(4)$1,200 and had those replaced. Ordered a brand new $1300 alpine head unit for it which looks and sounds amazing. Replaced the cracked and broken wind deflector at bottom of front bumper. Replaced the external ambient temperature sensor and installed the correct factory harness instead of the spliced and cut up wires he had. Serviced the engine. Replaced center console cover and radio bezel with new including shifter panel. Ordered new ZR-1 mats . Had the car completely dry iced underneath…that set me back another $3,100 alone. The reason I am selling it is because I am investing in real estate and much rather have the extra time and money now before I get older. The engine I will say is incredible. He did say it was port matched and tuned. I can certainly say that was absolutely done right. The transmission and clutch are in perfect shape. The exhaust is all Borla and sounds beautiful. I originally bought this car for $24,000 plus $2,100 shipping . I have put in an additional $9,767.00 in work. I would definitely keep it but I’ve got a great opportunity to do more and would much rather make the sacrifice to better my future. I will also be posting pictures of a gorgeous 1980 corvette L-82 which I thought I would never get rid of….but it’s worth the sacrifice. ! Both of these cars have the love of a true corvette owner….the love that everyone of of should have for these type of cars. It’s shameful and sad to see people abuse and destroy these gems. Every time I drive either of them…it makes me very very proud to know that the couldn’t be in better hands than with me.! PERIOD! And the condition and shape shows it! I’m not asking a large amount of money for this car, I just ask for something that fair for the buyer and seller. I don’t mind losing money, so as long as it goes to a good home and I move on with my new business venture! We all win!
