About this vehicle This 1993 Chevrolet C1500 is a restomod with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. Seller"s Notes Beautiful truck. Enjoy. Exterior This is a top notch single cab shortbed. It started as a v6 pickup and was significantly upgraded to a 5.3l V8 with Flat top pistons and a Tick Performance cam, lifters, springs and pushrods. Professionally tuned with a dual 3" into single Flowmaster 44 series muffler. The motor sits further back in the engine bay to improve braking and turning performance. As a result we were unable to use headers and instead custom fabricated steel exhaust manifolds to conserve space. This rust free truck was built at 118k original miles and has just over that now. It features a 4 speed automatic transmission with a custom made drive line from Inland Truck Parts and a 2200 stall torque converter. The entire fuel system was replaced with a new tank and new pump and braided steel lines. This high performance truck was fitted with Mcgaugheys 3" drop spindles, Moog bushings, Moog ball joints and CPP disc brake rotors and calipers. 3" heavy duty springs were custom ordered from Chassis Works and dampened by new Nitro2 drop shocks. New drop shackles from CPP and leaf springs help the rear sit level and just crests the 406Slam mini c-notch in the frame. The truck has impeccable turning and handing and rides smooth with full suspension travel you would never expect from a slammed truck. New drum brakes were used in the rear. The rust free truck was painted a Metallic Ruby and is a custom Tamco mix, tribute original paint color. The rich ruby exterior is set off with a new reproduction 1997 grill from Chevy and has new lights front and rear. The interior is reassembled using vintage parts from as the truck was found with no interior at all except the dash which unfortunately has one small crack in the top. . Bluetooth sound from Kenwood and JBL. This truck is not perfect but it was built with love literally from the ground up.
