Vehicle description
One owner, always garaged, well maintained. Only 63,000 miles. Everything works, AC is cold, still has R12. Recent Alternator, Battery, Heater core, Thermostat, Serpentine belt, Tune up. The tires have good tread left but are older, I would replace them soon.
Here"s the problem, the Front cradle is rusted, not yet rotted but needs to be replaced. The floors and body are all solid, no rust. The labor time to replace the cradle is 4 hours, the engine does not need to come out to replace. Also, the rear parking brake cables need to be replaced, the levers on the rear brake calipers move freely. Also, there is a small dent just forward of the left rear wheel, paint is still good so it"s not rusted but it is dented (see photo). Also, there is a small trim piece missing from the top of the right front fender (see photo).
This Buick runs, drives, brakes and handles like new. It is very comfortable and dependable. My Dad bought it new in 1993, my Mom has been driving it for the past 15 years but has decided not to drive anymore. I wish I could keep it but I have no room or need for it. Despite needing the cradle and parking brake replaced this is a great vehicle that will last for years. I have a clear title and the owners manual.
