Vehicle description

Vehicle Details 1992 VW CABRIOLET WOLFSBURG EDITION - SURVIVOR - VOLKSWAGEN RABBIT GOLF JETTA BEETLEExtremely low mileage VW Cabroliet Wolfsburg Edition with 35k ORIGINAL miles. The factory color is Flash Red. All original paint. It runs great. I acquired it from a family in Knoxville TN, and the Carfax shows its been within 30 miles of Knoxville its whole life. It looks to have been mostly garaged. I did some minor things to make it road worthy and other than that it just needs a good detail. The heat and AC seem to work, but air only comes out of the defrost vents. I haven't troubleshot this yet. Complete original interior and engine bay (basically the cleanest engine bay I’ve ever seen). Very well taken care of. The convertible top goes down easily. It’s from East Tennessee so no salt damage as we get under 10 days of snow a year. Very solid and rust free.NEWER PARTS:Fresh oil and filter changeNew ClutchBrand new tires with warrantyClean Tennessee title in hand with my name on itMechanically very sound, the motor sounds great and the manual 5 speed transmission shifts well. The brakes work great. It stays within perfect temperature range. The oil gauge works intermittently and the oil light blinks sometimes. Very solid overall. The non-perfect parts:The top seems 100% original and has some minor holes/tears from use. I would keep it as-is myself. It comes with the original white boot cover to cover the convertible top when down but it is dirty. I did not try to clean it up but at least it was used to protect the top!The car has minor dings and dents as seen in the photos. I took tons of photos and can provide additional photos as requested. The car was in a hail storm but still has a clean Tennessee title with my name on it. The hood and upper parts of fenders show evidence of this. A simple hood swap could fix it but it isn’t very noticeable in this color. I would keep it as-is.The factory radio works but the LCD screen has a blacked out area on the right. Still fully usable though. The gas cap has a cracked handle. I haven’t replaced it but it’s a simple cheap fix.Located in Knoxville TN and I can be reached at (805) 405-0765. Images Download the Motors app
