All Original and Unmodified 3F-E 4.0 Liter Inline-six - 155 HP Locking Center Differential 4 Speed Automatic Gearbox 272k Miles Presented by Classic Investments in Englewood, Colorado The FJ80 Series Land Cruiser was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor show in 1989 and launched in 1990. It was a huge upgrade from the FJ60 series Land Cruisers, and brought the model into the modern world. Between offering all the standard creature comforts you would expect from a new car from this year as well as being one of the most capable offroad machines available for sale at the time the Land Cruiser was in a class of its own. This is an original paint example that has a super clean body / chassis on it after sitting a number of years in dry storage. Known to be in the western USA all it’s life. Comes in a highly desirable color design that really enhances this cruiser’s good looks which adds to its flavor While the car does show relatively high mileage, you would not be able to tell by the shape this car is in. Outside the original paint has held up quite well, with no clear coat peeling from sun damage. Inside the car the interior has been maintained beautifully as well, it appears that is looks like wear and tear for a 75k mile Cruiser, let alone a 275k mile Cruiser. This is attributed to the low ownership we think. The dashboard remains uncracked, something quite rare for an FJ80. All the gauges and switches work, and the speakers still produce a nice sound with none being blown out. The carpets throughout the car are in excellent condition, showing very little wear and tear even in high traffic areas such as under the drivers feet. The car also comes with a 3rd row seat and an original tool roll. The 3F-E starts up as soon as you turn the key and idles nice and smoothly. The transmission goes right into gear without and drama, and the car pulls away form a stop very smoothly. The Transfer case works both in 4Hi and 4Lo, and the center differential lock is also still functioning. The engine feels very healthy, and while these are not fast cars it does still feel nice and torquey. This car has just undergone some maintenance to make sure it is nice and reliable for the next owner. A new fuel pump and fuel filter have been installed, a new radiator and a set of hoses have also been fitted. Fluids have been changed including coolant, oil, and brake fluid. The brakes were also just adjusted and the car is running and driving excellent. The heater core is currently bypassed and does need serviced. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions!
