Vehicle description
Originally an automatic, this 300ZX was converted to manual using a non-turbo transmission. New shifter assembly, lightweight flywheel, and ACT clutch. It does not have the vacuum assist clutch. The motor is rebuilt with CP Pistons, stock rods with ARP bolts, and the stock crank. The intake side is mostly stock with a K&N filter. The exhaust consists of stock manifolds with aftermarket downpipes, H pipes, and a pair of B&B mufflers. It has about 500 miles and a few autocrosses on the rebuild.
The EGR and other emissions items are removed. All vacuum lines and coolant hoses were replaced with silicone ones. The heater core was replaced in 2021.
The ECU is a re-chipped unit from Z1 Motorsports. It also has an electronic fan controller mounted where the automatic ECU resided. The stock boost jets are installed.
I have many receipts, most parts were obtained from Z1 Motorsports.
Known issues: * The tires are 2010 dated, and showing small cracks. * The idle valve needs adjustment/replacement. When initially returning to idle the RPMs will sometimes drop. * The A/C system will not hold a vacuum. * The chassis has 150,000 miles on it, and there are dings and scrapes.
The only rust on this car is on the clutch pedal assembly which was obtained from a donor car.
The car is for sale as part of a divorce agreement.
I can deliver the car within 500 miles or so, otherwise it"s up to you.
