Vehicle description
1992 Lexus SC300 - Rare 5 speed manual with turbo. Royal Jade Pearl (6M2) metallic paint with tan leather. Modified properly to be faster than the legendary Mark IV Supra Turbo. A real "sleeper", with potential to be even faster. Adjustable boost controller allows boost to be turned down or up at any given moment. OZ Futura racing wheels were $2,500 new back in the late 90s. I had them completely redone and polished to be just like new in my ownership. Lowered properly with wider track. Suspension is dialed in.
Lightweight lithium ion battery that weighs 9 lbs that will never leave you stranded even if you kill the battery by accidentally leaving a light on, or sit too long, etc. Battery has a secondary reserve in case battery is drained, that is powerful enough to start car in event battery has drained too much.
Well maintained with all records since new, manuals and original window sticker even. I have put probably over 10k into this car during my ownership. Original owner put over 25k into car years after purchasing new to have turbo installed with all aftermarket modifications to dial car in. I bought the car from the original owner nearly 4 years ago. Lots of new and spare parts included with sale.
If this were a Supra, it would be very expensive. However, I am accepting offers below $10k. Great car appreciating in value. Must see before making an offer. Selling because family is up to 12 cars and cannot keep them all.
This build was not a high horsepower build. It was built for fun street low and mid range torque so it can accelerate out of anything real quickly with very little turbo lag.
Pros: Can"t count them all. I think they are pretty obvious.
Cons: Each con can be repaired before sale depending on sale price and what buyer wants.)
Driver front fender dented. (Backed into while parked earlier this year.)
Passenger exterior door handle is not connected inside door and will not open door. (Very common issue and greatly documented.) I can show all write-ups on this.
Leaks a bit of oil.
