Vehicle description
1992 Land Rover Defender 110 200tdi in Arles Blue, with approximately 158k miles. I"ve owned the vehicle for 5 years and imported it in 2019 when I returned from the UK (SALLDHMF7JA915528). Vehicle has been garage kept the entire time and driven on the weekends with a few weekend trips. Significant restoration done over the course of ownership. Exterior is in great shape with a few small minor dings but overall, the body wears well for its age. I did paint the truck and while not the best job it"s much better than it was. The chassis and rear crossmember are in good condition. The frame had some surface rusting removed and a waxoyl treatment, which is starting to peel but the frame is solid with no holes or corrosion. The interior is solid and has been painted as well. The dash has some minor blemishes, but otherwise in fine condition. The headliner is intact. Starts first time and drives / shifts very smoothly with no issues pulling through all the gears. Anyone looking for a good starter entry 110 would enjoy this one. Only selling due to a change in family situation. Vehicle is titled, tagged and 100% legal in the US. Ships from Virginia with a clean clear VA title. Also includes a variety of service parts and gaskets, snorkel and includes a full size roof rack. Here"s a list of things I"ve repaired or added: New bulkhead installed in 2018, front doors were repaired and the second row are new, new rear quarter panels/cappings, door hinges and a windshield. Regular service completed and replaced the timing belt, water pump, radiator and steering pump. Installed poly bushings in 2018, added a steering guard, bull bar, rock sliders, cubby box, front Exmoor trim carpet and swing away spare tire carrier. New halogen headlights and LED lights retaining the same style as original, installed a slick shift for smoother gear changes, replaced spring clutch pedal with a duel spring setup, new rear sliding windows, later model seats were added to the front and the second row retain their originality. Tool and battery box replaced.
