Vehicle description
1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ.
The bad. . There is rust on frame and 2 locations that were cracked/corroded. The drivers side front is not repaired, it is included in photos. The passenger side rear has had a plate welded on it to repair. These are both common area and there are kits available to repair. The jeep appears to once have been yellow, but was rattle canned green. See photos for general condition, I did my best to show the bad areas of the vehicle. There is some obvious body work in the past. The windshield is sealed, but the rubber gasket around the out side is missing. Radio is not there. Horn was reared to a switch on the dash. One headlight is out. Fog lights need a fuse, I popped it when removing some old wiring. Door seals need some work in order to get them sealed, safe to drive, but not sealed.
The good. . New Bestop soft top and doors. New battery. New starter. New thermostat. Gear oil has been changed. I have owned it less than a year and this was done by me so this is all within the last year. It runs and drives and is reliable. I have taken it on 10+ hour drives and had no issues. The trans is old, but it seems to be acceptable. The engine seems solid.
I will include a new set of powder coated wheels with it. There is a back seat, but I have never tried to put it back in. There is a box of misc. nuts and bolts.
When I purchased this last year, I looked into shipping. It looked like for about $350 I could have had it hauled. I chose to drive it, but shipping is an option if you make the arrangements.
I have done my best to document the bad stuff with the photos. Please ask if you want anything more specific.
