Vehicle description
Up for sale is a rare JDM right hand drive 1992, A/C, 38k original miles, 5sp. Honda Acty microvan.
It was imported it last year and I drove it cross country to VA. Many stories could be told by the delightful memories we"ve had travelling with the Acty. It"s always a favorite among the crowds and gets an abundance of attention wherever it goes. A simple pitstop for gas can become a 1 hour q&a for curious minds.
Mechanically it"s in perfecting working order. Engine is smooth with recent oil change. There is no evidence of clutch wear. Shifts smoothly with no gear rejections. The clutch engagement is predictably positive and pedal feel is light and smooth. It"s a 5 speed manual. Naturally aspirated 660cc rear mounted motor. Drivetrain is RWD. Engine access is on the floor board in cargo area and very easy to access.
The truck with open bed is the most common variant of the Acty. The Microvan is not common. .at least not stateside.
The exterior is plasti dipped in Camo green. The original color is perfectly preserved under the dip and is white.
The wheels are 13" JDM Enkei wheels no longer produced.
The published top speed is 71 mph. It"s comfortable around 55 mph driving cross country. This vehicle was designed for light commercial duty in the urban jungle of Tokyo and rural farmland. It"s perfectly happy lumbering in these situations but I can assure you it also thrives crossing the country enduring beautiful beaches, camping in state parks, and watching the most beautiful sunset. .did I mention it has 2 sliding doors?
