Up for auction is a rare find in the classic Suburban era. I am selling this Suburban for a family friend who is in her early 80"s and has owned this Suburban since 94. Her late husband was a collector of Chevrolet products and this was his wife"s personal daily driver. He always maintained all of his vehicles in pristine condition and this Suburban was no exception. He always kept a journal of all his vehicles and every gallon of gas and mileage and repairs as seen in just a few pages of the journal. I also have a folder with several receipts. This Suburban spent its life in the dry climate of Eastern Washington and was always garaged. It has only had 3,000 miles put on it since 2010. I personally picked it up a couple weeks ago and drove it 391 miles home to get ready to sell for her. The Suburban sits on factory rims and is lowered with rear shackles and front drop springs. This Suburban drives down the road as if it was new. It has never been smoked in and smells just like the first day it left the lot. The only flaw I found was the gas gauge isn"t accurate. It had a new fuel pump put in on 03/23/06 with 190,771 miles. It might be from sitting. Her husband always added fuel stabilizer and kept his vehicles on battery tenders and started periodically. The journal also shows a transmission rebuilt in 06/09/04 with 180,250 miles on Suburban. The paint is in excellent condition for the year. And there has never been a roof rack installed. If your looking for a early Suburban that is like new and cared for in a pristine condition then this one is a hard one to shop. With the history and records to back it up don"t hesitate to bid on this rare find.
