Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1992 Chevrolet S Truck is an original with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes I have lots of parts for this truck and other gbody front ends or other S10 style trucks Vehicle Details 1992 Chevrolet S-10 Interior: Dark grey/black leather bucket seats from 2000ish blazer, have matching door panels(not installed), small steering wheel, new door seals(still packaged), new interior door handles, dash is not cracked, fabric dash cover Exterior: BMW 16" wheels, pretty good tires, only touched up air pressure once, over the whole winter. No accidents, ever. No Bondo, no BS. Clear coat peeling, Minor scratches, no gouges in body. Rubber bed mat. Tonneau cover/cap is in okay shape, has 4 clamps, it's not all bent up or out of shape, but it does have some spider cracks that someone tried to cover up before I bought it, the cap has a third brake light on it. Engine: 4.3L V6, engine was rebuilt about 7 years ago, everything was replaced. Oil and filter was changed 2 months ago, will probably change again in the next couple weeks. New OEM: Crank, connecting rods, main bearings, cam bearings, roller lifters, valves (seals, retainers and locks), all gaskets, timing chain, sprockets, push rods, rocker arms, studs. New after market: Speed pro pistons, 0.010 over. Cam, Melling cam, CCS-38, it's a better bump up in power from a stock cam, I've been told in the past that it would be better as a turbo cam, it's pretty healthy, nothing crazy though, the kit came with lifters and springs to match the cam. Throttle body: throttle body has been ported and polished, shaved throttle blade cross bar, 1 in phenolic spacer, running 305ci. injectors. TPS sensor has been dialed in. Modified fuel pressure regulator, so it's actually adjustable, running bigger fuel pressure spring. Has a MSD Street fighter multiple discharge ignition box, Accel ignition coil, and matching 8.8 plug wires, E3 plugs. The coil plug wires and plugs were installed about a year ago. The transmission was rebuilt the same time the engine was, 700R4, has a cheetah shift kit, better Sun shell, aftermarket clutches, aftermarket band, 5 gear planetary set, with digital output tail shaft, not a mechanical speedometer, aftermarket pan with drain plug. I never got around to put in the Corvette servo in. Filter and fluid changed about a year ago, extremely minimal particles on the pan magnet. Rear end: 3.23 gear set, Mini spool installed along with new bearings and seals about 2 years ago, has Cal Tracks installed with 3" drop springs. Fluid changed about a year ago, no metal flakes of any kind. Front suspension: Everything in the front suspension, has been replaced except for the steering box itself. The track bar, inner and outer tie rods and adjustment sleeves were purchased from O'Reilly's, Upper A arms are Speedway steel shaft pipe control arms. The upper ball joints are Afco 1" extended stud length for better caster rollover during cornering, spindles have been changed out with 2002 Blazer sealed bearing sets along with twin piston calipers, hub bearing assemblies were changed four years ago, 2" drop springs, sway bar bushings were replaced the same time, alignment was done at a Chevrolet dealership. Drive shaft: was replaced with new heavy duty u-joints and balanced when rear end was lowered. The heater core and radiator were replaced about 2 to 3 years ago. The brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, calipers, pads, and rubber brake hoses were replaced about 4 years ago. AC compressor was replaced by a shop and blew up a couple days after picked up, they blamed it on the parts I supplied and I just took the compressor off and put on a bypass pulley. Windshield was replaced about 3 years ago, new wiper blades 3 weeks ago. The side mirrors, window motors, door hinges, both interior and driver exterior door handles were replaced along with ignition and door lock cylinders as a set. The headlights, running lights / turn signals, brake lights have all been replaced along with every bulb in the truck. There is not a single bit of rust on the truck anywhere, the frame has never been bent cut or mutilated, the electrical harness has never been tapped in or messed with. I have taken very good care of this truck with very minor things happening to it. There is a very shallow dent in the driver door underneath the exterior door handle where someone kneed the door to close it, and a wrinkle/bend in the driver front fender, because someone decided to use a Bumper Jack to change the tire while they borrowed the truck.
