About this vehicle This 1992 Chevrolet Camaro is an original. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Briefly, these cars were made from 89-92 in this generation f body to use for several scca, imsa and primarily the gm motorsports players series in canada. Some were built with the b4c package which were special service/police cars with air conditioning , some were built with the r7u package which were the cars sent to the racers. Those cars had hand assembled motors and were mostly beat up in racing and there were some made as homologated 1le’s. This car is one of those. Probably not more than 100 or so made in this configuration. I bought this car from the second owner and this car has always been enjoyed and been in collectors hands. I have a dossier of paperwork three inches thick from the first two owners. I mean craziness with paperwork from the initial order, every receipt, dealer communication. Build wheets, factory correspondence. If you get off on paperwork this is the most documented car i have ever seen. I am only selling this car because we are moving overseas in February and the cost of bringing my cars is prohibitive so im selling my babies. In my care I have replaced the front calipers with nos 1le pbr oem pieces( impossible to find) all new bridgestone tires in the correct size as gatorbacks are impossible to find. Additionally the previous owner put new muffler back tailpipes that can easily be changed back to the oem ones. Still available from walker the oem pipes. Yes walker made them for gm. This is not one of the 200 mile cars that will never get driven or enjoyed. This car has been sparingly used by all 3 owners. This is an absolute fantastic car to drive.fantastic. Handles like its on rails. The 1le package consisted of baffled fuel tank, aliminum driveshaft, special rear end gearing, special shocks no ac no foglights no power windows and a few other go fast items i cant recall. There is a crack in the dash( under my care in the garage) however there are now reproductions available and I had the rear bumper painted as the clear was starting to flake. I have meticulasly mainted this car under my stewardship as have its previous owners. Car has leather seats and cassette player If you are interested a 500 mile Ile sold on bat this year for 42500 plus fees and a 68000 mile car sold at mecum for 30000 plus fees. This car has a very realistic reserve set for a car that will certainly go up in value as you enjoy it. Priced less than the new Corolla I just bought my grandaughter .
