Vehicle description
OK, where do I start? I stumbled upon this unique car a few years ago. Some billionaire in Japan created a company to rebody Mazda Miatas (Eunos in Japan) and made them look like mid 50"s Lotus"s. This is one the only one in the US to my understanding. Here is the only article I was able to find regarding the history of this car:

The only other article I was able to find was this:

Here is a video of mine prior to new paint and re-chroming the bumpers. Also, note this had the original wheels on.

Here is a video of me driving it this am:

Please note, it drives fine, the two lights on are one for the brakes (always been on, brake level is fine, no issues) and the other is the seatbelt (always on since there is no sensor in the seat).
This is NOT a kit car and was never offered as a kit, but rather a factory re-body professionally done. All the lights are Lucas, the body itself is fiberglass and the only original pieces of the Miata are the doors and windshield.
The car has 45669 original kilometers which is under 30,000 original miles (amazingly low) and these are original miles. I did replace the face of the gauges with retro gauges, this converted the speedometer to MPH, but did not touch the odometer.
Clear title with 43566 original kilometers (I only drove it about 2,000 kilometers since I bought it).
Bumpers are all metal and I recently re-chromed everything (about $2k spent).
The only items I replaced were: Alternator
spark plugs lowering springs
speedometer face
This is a beauty and very rare (again, this is the only one in the US to my knowledge and I believe less than 50 were ever built.
The car is not perfect it needs a radio, I have an OK one in there, but it needs a new one and a mounting kit.
Paint is decent (I did not wax it for pictures), there is one imperfection in the rear turn signal where the clear is coming off. One door panel could use re-done, I have extra material that is included in the sale. All turn signals and lights work! Comes with original custom hard top (not a normal Miata one). Comes with original wheels (one wheel needs straightened). Car passed Arizona emissions! AC works great.
Feel free to call about the car, and if you want to see it locally that is absolutely not a problem! (480) seven88 - 3835. The only reason I am selling it, I am building a cabin and trying to bring up some cash to pay for an alternative septic solution (I just got the bad news that I need an alternative septic solution yesterday, bummer).
I won"t sell it for less than 12k, as I have about what I have into it, and again this is the ONLY one here.
To answers some questions - I legally imported this vehicle from Japan. It has a clear Arizona title (titled as a 1991 Mazda Eunos). I had to list it as a 1980 in Ebay due to the VIN not having 17 digits.
Thanks!
