Vehicle description
Vehicle Details THIS. . is a 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix SE, finished in white with a gray cloth interior. The odometer currently indicates approximately 8,160 miles. This Grand Prix is said to be #43 of 43 special edition cars given away as part of a promotion by Pepsi and Richard Petty in 1991. It was also reportedly displayed at the Richard Petty Museum for a number of years. The attached Carfax history report indicates no accidents or mileage discrepancies; it also shows the car has been registered in North Carolina since new. The included window sticker shows this Pontiac carried a sticker price of $17,557. In addition to the special badging and exterior graphics, it came equipped with Option Package 3, the Aero Performance Package (aero ground effects and wheel flares, wide body kit, 16-inch cross-lace alloy wheels, split dual exhaust), rally handling suspension, a sport steering wheel, air conditioning, and more as detailed below. The Grand Prix nameplate had already been around for 26 years by the time the fifth-generation was introduced for the 1988 model year. Touted in period advertisements as a race-car for the street that was equally capable of pulling family duty, these machines sported 4-wheel independent suspension, anti-lock brakes, a sprightly V6, good interior room, and a decently-sized trunk. Power comes from a 3.1-liter V6, rated at 140 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.Equipment A window sticker is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of notable equipment is shown below: Option Package 3 (6-way power driver's seat, power door locks and windows, intermittent wipers, illuminated entry, power sport mirrors, cruise control, tilt steering wheel) Aero Performance Package (aero ground effects and wheel flares, wide body kit, 16-inch cross-lace alloy wheels, split dual exhaust) Rally handling suspension Sport steering wheel Front bucket seats Air conditioning Rally gauges Recent Service History The seller says the air conditioning system was recently converted to run on R-134a refrigerant.
