Up for auction is my 1991 Mustang GT 5.0 automatic. Paint code PA Emerald Green. It has 127,403 miles and is very largely original. The VIN stickers appear on all panels, the distributor rubber boot, original 1991 spark plug wires are all there. The original catalytic converters are still there and never been removed. The car had consistent oil changes, and 5 or so years ago, I replaced the spark plugs, valve cover gaskets and some vacuum lines. That’s the only time the valve covers have been off.
The car has spent the majority of its time outside in the Texas sun. It has taken a toll on the paint, but the car was never repainted. The interior shows wear on the seats, and somewhat of a sun burn on the rear seat. The original spare and jack are in the hatch and the original roll up cargo cover remains as well. There are some hail dings on the roof and hood. The original front bumper made contact with a trailer hitch and is cracked/broken in some places. I do have another oem used front bumper cover that will go with the car. There is absolutely no rust on the car, undercarriage is great. I will try to get some photos or a video before the auction ends. It has been a Texas car all of its life. The engine runs great and sounds great. The AOD trans upshifts & downshifts fine, but the overdrive band is out. I still drive the car around town, and have even made 100 mile round-trips in it with no issues. I would recommend a transmission rebuild in the future. The speedometer does bounce-around when at speed, but the tach, odometer, fuel gauge, etc all work fine. The odometer adds miles correctly, the only issue is the needle bouncing. The airbag light is on. Not sure how long it has been on, assuming one of the modules is bad.
I will be out of town until Friday March 19th. The auction is scheduled to end Sunday March 21 in the evening. If you want to look at the car before that, that is fine. My brother can show the car by appointment. I can answer any questions you might have as well, just currently traveling for work. Please only bid if serious! This auction will require a non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end. If that is an issue, please let me know before the auction is over! I am flexible, I just do not care to relist and be out $$ due to a non-paying bidder. I can meet with a shipper if the car needs to be shipped with no issues.
