“Runs and Drives Great! Although in very good condition overall, this is a preowned vehicle and will naturally show some age and wear. Please view the attached pictures and ask any questions that you have. There are some minor scuffs on the body and the paint could benefit from a buffing. The only mechanical issues I’ve noticed are on cold days the engine will need to crank for about twenty seconds and requires a minute or two to warm up before driving. There is a small exhaust leak, but it is quite muffled. The blower motor for the climate control makes some noise at higher fan speeds. The passenger side seat moves back and forth, but the switches for the back and headrest need to be cleaned. Other than these few items, this classic 190 E is a very clean, reliable and solid example. Comes with a clean NY state title.” |

Vehicle description
1991 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.6
You are bidding on a 1991 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.6. These very desirable Mercedes’ are becoming much more difficult to find, especially low-mileage examples such as this one. 2 owners since new with only 122k original miles !
Engine: the inline 2.6L 6 cylinder engine runs very smoothly. Transmission: the automatic transmission shifts crispy through all gears. Suspension: the suspension is solid and doesn’t make any noises. Brakes: the antilock disk brakes grip evenly all the way around without any pulsations. Body: this car has spent most of its life in the south, and there is no rust or corrosion underneath or elsewhere on the body including the door frames and wheel arches, which commonly rust. Interior: the inside is clean and smoke-free. The seats and dashboard are in good, original condition without any cracks. The air conditioning was retrofitted to R134a. All of the windows roll up and down except for the left, rear. The sunroof opens and closes smoothly. All of the vacuum operated locks work correctly.

Please ask any and all questions that you have before placing a bid or otherwise agreeing to purchase the vehicle. This is a No Reserve auction meaning that the car will sell to the highest bidder. I am open to all reasonable offers prior to the close of the auction so it is suggested not to wait before placing a bid. The remaining balance is due within three (3) days without exception via bank wire, bank check, or cash .
