Vehicle description
The number one Roadster of all time!
Up for sale is a beautiful 1991 Mazda Miata (pics were taken in 2015 but car looks pretty much the same):
- Paint job: I bought it five years ago, previous owner had it painted a few months prior.
- Shaved door handles with fob for entry
- BBS rims
- Light kit
- Bars
- Sound system (rear speakers)
- Convertible top about 7 years old (very tiny tear from metal that holds the top taut, NO leaks).
- Car kit
- Master/Slave clutch replaced in August 2014
Factoid: It was the 6227th car made in the 2nd production year.
I bought the Miata five years ago, the previous owner listed it as "new engine" with 1000 miles. I have driven about another 7500 miles or so. The car runs great.
There are a couple flaws cosmetically (please see pics). T here is an ever-so-tiny tear on the roof (driver side toward back window) too tiny for leaks. I bought professional gaffer"s tape to seal from the inside (haven"t done so yet), used "gorilla" glue to seal from the outside (no leaks on roof), however, the car does need replacement of the rubber seal gaskets around the windows. They look worn and water will get in somewhere on driver"s side if it rains hard because of this.
The car is currently in an indoor garage at my mechanic"s. He is doing me the favor of showing it for those who want to see it (by appointment only, as he is a very busy man). Any mechanical questions about the car? I prefer to ask the mechanic, he"ll be better equipped to answer any questions.
Local pickup preferred but if buyer needs the vehicle shipped, buyer will have to make their own arrangements after payment is cleared.
