Vehicle description
Selling my 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 w/5-speed manual in the rare Emerald Green color. This a true 27,800 mile original UNTOUCHED/UNMOLESTED car. This vehicle is 100% rust free, the shock towers and torque boxes are like brand new. I have never driven this in the winter and keep it indoors at all times. It is clearly evident that the prior owner also followed the same thought process and took extremely good care of this car. I have owned this care for 4 years and have performed the following maintenance repairs as follows - Replaced original spark plug wires (yes they were dated 1991), new shocks, new brake pads, oil change, air filter replacement and new tires.
Original exhaust system, original radio w/premium sound. Interior is virtually like new with exception of (1) pencil eraser size hole in back seat (not sure how it was caused) and almost undetectable so I never have done anything about it. I did install a set of extended aftermarket seat tracks on driver side for taller people (I am 6" tall) which helps the driving experience. These aforementioned are easily removed and there is no modifications that had to be performed to install them. The speedometer does have a tendency to bounce the needle (this is an easy repair at a speedometer shop) and upon research it appears that this is a common issue. Note that a bouncing speedometer needle does not affect the odometer whatsoever.
I have virtually every receipt and document from when this car was purchased new including the bill of sale, window sticker, warranty paperwork, finance paperwork, oil change papers etc.
There is a receipt for some "touch up" paint work performed in 1994 for a total of $250. Obviously it must have been relatively minor as I cannot tell where this "touch up" occurred.
In summary this car runs and drives like a brand spanking new car. An excellent addition to the serious enthusiasts collection.
