Vehicle description

1991 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT with 102k original miles. This isn"t a odometer rolled over 3 times and I cleaned it up and put some new parts on it to claim it has low miles. . thia is a actual 102k mile foxbody. No accidents, ever. Stayed in the same family (see below/bottom of description) until I got it and has never been north of SC. Been in GA abd SC since new. No rust anywhere on it. No dents or dings on the body and was resprayed approx a year ago the same color, Artic White. Car is bone stock except for a cathack exhaust and a off road X-pipe. .which has the EGR lines installed so there is no CELs. Also have the original catted H pipe. Tires are 6 months old and probably have 600 miles max on them. Everything on the motor is stock and original except a K&N drop in filter. It still has the original R12 AC that blows cold still. All weather stripping is perfect all the way around the car. 5 speed car with no transmission issues. Interior is nice and not hacked up but could use new carpet and a couple little things to make it perfect inside. No rips or holes or anything, just stained from 30 years of stuff. The people use to drive to get their mail everyday so it wasn"t sitting and they lived on a dirt road and didn"t care to much about the interior. So it was dusty, dirty when I got it and they were smokers. Still has the ashtray and cigarette lighter. . and a cigarette burn in the seat. Headliner isn"t sagging or anything and the dash is perfect. All the buttons on the steering wheel work and so does cruise control. Windows are tinted and the tint isn"t peeling anywhere and doesn"t have any bubbles or anything. Engine runs really good and burns no oil and makes no noise. All the lights work inside and out too. If you"re looking for a car that is all stock, never beat on with a perfect history. .you won"t find a better one for the price. IMO it could use shocks and struts as they are the original ones as far as I can tell. But, I have brand new OE spec shocks, struts and quad shocks that I haven"t installed yet and HR springs. You don"t have to use/take them if you don"t want, I will use them on the next foxbody I buy. I also have HR sport springs for it with all polyurethane mounts for all 4 corners. It will give it a small 1 inch drop, approximately. I just wanted a very subtle drop for appearance. Wasn"t gonna go lower as you have to start changing more parts to do it right and will make it ride like crap. It"s fine to drive and it"s not making any suspension noise or anything, it"s just a little floaty and could use new suspension being its 30 years old. Has zero drivability or cooling issues whether you are cruising, idling, getting on it, AC on or off, it doesn"t matter. Has no surging or idling issues and no vac leaks. It"s just a really nice example of a survivor foxbody with a solid history. Very hard to come by these days. I really wanted/still want a red GT with the porno red interior, but that"s what I"m gonna find now. I"m not gonna mess this car up by trying to do a color change in and out. It would ruin the car unless I paid a ungodly amount of money to do it right. So, I bought the car, suspension parts and bought a nice $400 X pipe for it. Not a big name x-pipe, but a x-pipe that was hand built by a guy that specializes in foxbodys and it"s really high quality. So I paid $400 for it and paid a little over $200 to get it installed because I wanted the EGR lines from the OEM smog pump system installed so I wasn"t getting any CELs on the dash from plugging or removing the lines just to get a catless pipe put on. Thats about it. . .
Ownership History: :Sat at dealership new from 91-93 :Sold in 93 and owners of 20 years put a little over 50k on it in the first few years before the owner passed away. Then it was kept in the family as basically a keepsake. :2 or 3 more owners over the next almost 10 years where it went from mail getter to garage queen, were the nephew or uncle or something like that and granddaughter of the original owner. :Was sold to me and I drove it home from SC with the AC on and cruise control set. Not even a hiccup all the way to FL. Would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the US, so if you wanna fly in and drive it home I think it wouldn"t be a problem, at all.
Message me if you want any videos of thr car or want any pictures of certain things/areas of the car since I"m limited on how many pictures I can post in a ad. I"m more than happy send you whatever you need to see so you 100% know exactly what kind of quality you are bidding on. Thanks
ALL PHOTOS IN AD WERE TAKEN DAY OF THE MAKING OF THE AD, 8/15/21. Also, if you"re gonna ship it I can help get it on auto hauler for you. Or you can come pick it up and drive it back. Car stays in a garage so it will be safe until you come get it.
