Vehicle description

· 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T. · Manufactured in Mexico (as they all were) in October of 1990. · Indy Red clear coat exterior · Charcoal Grey cloth interior (with ‘groovy’ red striping). · Less than 41,000 ORIGINAL miles. · Clear title (solely in my name) and insured. · Sales Price $14,500. · A total of 1,208were sold in the U.S. in 1991 – 774 in red and 434 in white. Who knows how many are left . and left withonly 41K miles! Includes: Power Equipment Package – pwr windows and pwr door locks (pwr headed mirrors werestandard) Power Drivers Seat – 8-way. (both seats have manual lumbar support). Infinity Stereo – single CD & Cassette, 3 band eq. and 4 InfinitySpeakers. (CD/Tape/all functions work) It gets run it up to 90+mph and 5,000 rpm quite often and up and over The Blue Ridge Mountains…noissues. Air Conditioning works; OEMMarchal fog lights with funky little ‘fox faces’ on them work, stereo is OEM - speakerssound like 30+ year old factory installed ones; air intake in place, See photos of interior condition. (I trynot to use words like great/fantastic/fair/poor) I am just not driving itmuch anymore (about 800 miles per year – on sunny days only (really!)) and havethis Volvo V60 “Polestar” (see last photo) that makes over 360bhp from a 2.0lengine - 181hp/liter vs. the R/T that makes 102hp/l…. fun stuff. Although I do like the shifting in the R/T. Car still gets commentsmost every day I drive it…a lot positive – some curious – and some “Really? Why?”
Items to note May 2020 · New radiator and fan installed. · oil and filter, air filters and PCV valve all replaced. · new custom fit floor mats (4) from GG Bailey (OEM ones included). · new headlight housings and bulbs (original OEMs included). Dec 2017 · New suspention: Eibach “Pro-Kit Lowering Springs 2804.140” (4), KYB Struts (2), KYB “Gas-A-Just” shocks (2), “bobble strut”, Moog bushings(4) on front sway bar. · New brakes: R1 Concepts drilled/slotted (all 4 vented) rotors& ceramic pads (all 4 corners), 2x new front calipers, and fluidreplacement. Went with ceramic pads asthey are noted for lower dust and the ‘snowflake’ wheels are labor intensive toclean. · New Tires: Four (4) Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 205/60/15 91H HP All-Season tires. Original donut spare intrunk (note this tire is 30+ year old – I would not use) These were the ‘highest preforming 15” tiresTire Rack had. Nov 2017: new matching headliner Sept 2017: all filters and fluids (inc. transmission)changed. 2016: new timing and serpentine belts, water pump As far as the ‘gremlins’ · Air Bag light is on and cannot clear this. · Some of the functions on the ‘Traveler” (trip computer) do notwork. I have replaced the unit (twice!)and that is not the issue – must be deeper. · The paint is 30+ years old – a few spots need attention (where therear spoiler meets the trunk, a corner of the hood has a bit of rust). · Thereis some potting on the horizontal surfaces that are from hail damage. I live with it – easy to fix prior to arepaint…which I kept thinking I would do… Other items included. · Set of six (6) volume Chrysler 1991 Service and Repair manuals. · 40 page 1991 Dodge Performance catalogue for Stealth, Spirit R/T,Shadow ES and Daytona. · Original Owners Manual and Stereo Manual. · Three (3) OEM Chrysler keys with the plastic capsules – very‘retro’ 1990! (no key fobs here) · All documents on parts/work done – back as far as 2012. Please ask any and allquestions.
