Vehicle description
I"m selling my 1991 Alfa 164S. The vehicle sat for a couple of years and I bought it recently to keep and drive. I don"t have the spare time to fix up the few things the car needs so I"m just letting it go to another home.
The vehicle runs and drives and I have been using it for the past couple of weeks to go to and from work. It has a slight vibration at higher speeds which is most likely due to needing a balance. None of the warning lights are on except the abs light comes and off occasionally. Aside from that the running condition is great.
The exterior is pretty good with minor scratches. The paint is good and there is one rust spot that you can see in the picture.
The electronics all seem to work for the most part. Lights are all working the electronic suspension works which is a big deal on these cars as well as the stepper motors for the HVAC another big deal on these cars. The windows are slow going up and down and the power seat motors need to be tapped to work which is common.
Overall this car is in good condition and was only owned by ALFA people. I have a stack of service records about an inch thick. All of the important stuff was done. The timing belt and several other items were done a few thousand miles before it was parked. That receipt shows about $3500 worth of work total again that was just a few thousand miles before it was parked. With all of the good things I mentioned please remember this car is almost 30 years old and it does have wear. The vehicle runs and drives well but I don"t reccomend driving it cross country.
