Vehicle description

All Original! No Restoration Needed! I ordered this truck in the spring of 1990 It has been stored in a climate controlled garage since it was new. It has been well maintained and is 100% original! Nothing has been done to the motor other than routine maintenance. It was used mostly to pull a boat to go on vacations and to pull a trailer to car shows. Everything works as it did when new. The air conditioning has been repaired with new evaporator, drier, and filter. The system still has the R-12 which is the original “cold” Freon. And I have more R-12 that goes with the truck if there is ever another issue. I have other things that go with the truck; purchase information, brochures, original leather key fob, extra chrome parts (sorry, I no longer have original rims & caps) The paint is still 100% original, buffed to a bright luster, and there is no rust. I recently removed the taillight assembly to change a bulb. I looked into the side of the bed; over the wheel well area… there is still the original grey primer where rust normally starts. The fiberglass cap is held on with clamps, so there are no holes drilled in the bed. There is no spray-on bed liner to hide issues. Yes, the inside of the bed is scratched and dented. The new owner can decide whether or not to cover it with a liner. I choose to only use a mat. Liners cause problems. I ordered the truck with 3:91 gears but to my surprise, that wasn’t an option in 1990 on a 4-wheel drive diesel. It came with 4:10 gears with no other option. So I recently changed the gears to 3:54 with intentions of doing more traveling with the truck. (the original gears are like new and go with the truck) But I have retired outside the country and will no longer be able to enjoy my truck. It is still like new and I hope it finds a good home. The pictures and video show most anything you want to know but feel free to ask questions. Contact me and I can send you a link to the video that shows more detail.
