Vehicle description
Rarely seen AllTrac with 2.0 litre 4 cyl. with good cloth interior. Runs but has a leaking valve producing an engine miss, and needs front brakes. A set of new brake pads will come with. Transmission shifts well and has a "Power" setting for aid in getting out of deep snow or mud. All four wheels pull all the time, (it is not a computer aided front wheel drive system reverting to full time on demand) as all AllTracs in the late "80s and early "90s were full time, all the time. It is all wheel drive continuous making this a very remarkable, nearly impossible vehicle to get stuck with. It has a nearly new set of I-Pike deep lug tires with less than 5,000 miles on them, and is phenomenal on sheer ice or in heavy snow. Car needs a new exhaust pipe, a valve job, and front brakes to bring it into perfect driving condition. There is a second Camry DL of year 1991 in dark gray that may be sourced for fender replacement. It has a good head on that 2.0 liter engine and other good spares such as starter and alternator. (The AllTrac alternator has less than 10,000 miles and is a genuine Toyota branded ( from the dealership ) part.) The "91 dark grey car is a 5 speed manual with about 285,000 miles but interior appears as new. It"s engine was rebuilt 100,000 miles ago, but suffered damage internally and is not running. The AllTrac was a Japanese built car while the 2 wheel drive 5 speed in grey is an American built unit. Take them both together for one price. . both come with clear titles in my name. The "91 Camry has far less rust and has a working, original, Toyota optioned glass Sunroof which was also very uncommon in these units of this vintage. With a bit of engine work or a replacement, this 5 speed, grey Camry would make a second, great used vehicle in addition to the AllTrac model. Transmissions in both cars work excellent. Both were bought used by me with low miles and used for the majority of their lives to travel 120 - 250 miles a day commuting to and also for, work. Mileage may vary slightly upon sale date, altho not by much, as it is still being driven nearly daily. I am selling both vehicles and have replaced them with a newer Sequoia for winter duty in heavy snow. Heaters and air conditioning work great in both, with hot heat and cold air. Typical Toyota dependability . .
* as of today, 8/20/18 the mileage now reads 268,532 as it has been used since placing the ad here. It starts easily, runs on first turn of the key, and shifts beautifully. Oil has been recently changed with new filter, as it has been every 2500 miles. It drives down the highway arrow straight with no tire or alignment issues. This AllTrac has been a great car and I will be reluctant to see it go . .
