This 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300GD cabriolet was sold new in Germany and recently acquired by the seller from G-Zuna in the Netherlands. A 3.0L diesel inline-six sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox and three locking differentials, and factory options include a leather interior with contrasting wood trim. Comes with a removable hardtop which can be removed in two parts. A May 2018 service included installing new front brakes, rebuilding the front axle, and mounting four new tires. This G-Wagen is offered with a clean New York title in the seller’s name. Metallic black paint is shown up close in the gallery below. Exterior features include a swing-out spare tire carrier and a brush guard mounted to the front bumper. The hardtop features a hinged rear door and a removable roof panel over the front passenger compartment. Factory 5-spoke wheels wear new Cooper Discoverer all-terrain tires. Recent service included a rebuild of the front axle as well as installation of new front brake rotors, pads, and calipers, oil change. Factory interior equipment includes black leather seating accented by wood trim on the dash, console, and doors, the latter of which also feature Mercedes-Benz logos embroidered in red, and power mirrors. The truck features triple locking differentials, which are activated via three switches mounted above the HVAC controls. A $7k invoice for services conducted in May 2018 by Mercedes specialist Kraft German Auto in Brooklyn, New York receipts available upon request.
