Vehicle description

1990 Jeep YJ with the classic square headlights. 4.2L in-line 6. Street legal, not highway friendly. Automatic transmission with 4.88 gears on a rebuilt Ford 8.8 axle. 3” lift with an additional 3” body lift, sitting on GoodYear Wrangler Kevlar reinforced 35” tires- the rear tires are practically brand new.
The front sports a Poison Spyder hood, 8k lb Warn winch with remote, upgraded tie rod and Poison Spyder front diff cover. Practically new radiator and transmission cooler have been installed. The carburetor was rebuilt about 100 miles ago. All electrical terminals are soldered. A new Optima heavy duty battery was installed about 100 miles ago. The front brake pads and new braided steel brake lines have less than 1k miles.
The rear has a custom made Avid Off-road swinging tire carrier set up for a 2 gallon Rotopax fuel container- included, as well as a Fire-Stick antennae.
The undercarriage has custom made Avid Off-road sliders welded to the frame, a new trans filter, as well as custom-made 1/2” thick chromolly shackles painted to match the body, with greasable bolts and new urethane bushings. All 4 shocks are practically new.
The inside has a Tuffy Security rear cargo box, a Tuffy locking center console (matching keys), AM/FM/CD player, full roll cage, Drake fire extinguisher mount, Rotopax 1 gallon water container mount. The interior is painted with black bed-liner.
Extras include the original rear seat, an extra set of half-doors and steel front fenders which have never been mounted. And a steering stabilizer-unmounted.
It looks rough from the outside, but this old-skool Jeep was built for function, not looks. It’s a solid ride and ready for the trails. All the work has been done. Selling my baby because I just don’t use it enough- going to 2 wheels for a while. Local pick up preferred for all extras. Shipping can be arranged.
Clean title.
