Next weekend I will be replacing the cooling overflow jug. I drive it several times per week and would drive it anywhere without a worry. If not sold by first week of September I will be taking it on a 1300 mile trip to Illinois. I am selling it because I have the opportunity to buy a 1989 454 suburban that I have been after for a year.
On Aug-25-18 at 07:08:37 PDT, seller added the following information: If this sells for $5000 I will take a huge lose and the person that wins will get the best deal on E-bay. I was out driving it last night and am already haveing sellers remorse! The reaction from people is great. People stop me all the time to look at it.
Advanced timing 4* and re-gapped plugs to .35(originally set at .40) running and driving great. Also installed rear view mirror as original had fallen off.
