1990 Corvette L98 5.7 350 V8 Automatic, posi traction, dual exhaust Tuned Port injection.
Car runs and drives fantastic.
Recent full tune, new injectors, battery, shocks, exhaust is factory dual with muffler delete, has a nice low rumble, but not crazy loud at all.Newer tires all around.
New brakes with drilled vented HI performance disks, stops great.
Just installed a security bypass plug, to keep it from not starting, these are known for that.
Has aftermarket Kenwood Corvette specific stereo system that works great, with navigation.
Runs very cool water and oil temps, oil pressure is great and amp gauge reads strong all the time as well. Tach needs a resister part replaced, previous owner gave it to me, but have not had time to install. Speedo works as it should.
Issues/fixes: 1) Paint is ok, presentable, but has normal chips, flaking, wear and tear from age and use. Cleans up nice enough as is. Wheels also, could use a polishing or new clearcoat applied. 2) Tach not working, needs new part installed, that we have. 3) Pop up headlights work, but stick from time to time. 4) AC needs a charge, seems to work, but needs serviced.
Nice old Vette, solid, and reliable. Would drive anywhere. Gets good mileage for a sports car, in the 20"s. Nice, but not too nice to put miles on and drive to work or school, etc. Mileage will increase, as we drive this Corvette often.Selling this car for my daughter, It was her first car bought with her own money and its time to pass it on.
