Classic 1990 Chevrolet Cheyenne R20 2500 Regular Cab Short Bed 6 1/2 Fleetside 2 Wheel Drive Pickup. I imported this Truck in from Mexico. This body style was produced in Mexico until 1991. This is the same body style that was produced in the United States until 1987, which was the R10 Silverado. This Front end is Factory Installed. The USA Model Blazer and Suburban used this front end until 1991. Many people have converted the US Model to this front end from the Double Stacked Headlamps. This is the same as the half ton US truck in many ways. GM General Motors of Mexico made them 2500 models because of the higher payload and heavy duty suspension than the regular half ton US models. The Cheyenne Package was the top of the line in Mexico equal to the Silverado Package in the USA. Has the Factory 350 V-8 Gasoline Engine with a 4 Barrel Carb. With Edlebrock Intake Manifold and Carb with Hooker Headers. New Dual Exhaust System, New Shocks, Heavy Duty Front Stabilizer Bar. Upgraded Automatic 700 R4 Transmission, just overhauled. Original Transmission was the Turbo 400 3 Speed. Posi traction Rear Axle. Power Locks, Power Windows, Dual Fuel Tanks, Cold A/C. Cargo Lamp and Sliding Rear Window. AM/FM CD Player, Rally Wheels. Factory White Paint and Factory Velour Cloth Seats. Runs and drives good. I also have the Original Invoice from the Chevrolet Dealer in Mexico. Has the Kilometers Speedometer. Needs the valve that switches the Fuel tanks, its running on the left tank now. I have 2 New Left door and Right door Delco complete window motors and regulators in the box and a New Delco Ignition Key cylinder included in the sale. One window is a little slow going up and down. With these new motors that will take care of that. This truck uses the Mechanical fuel pump, not the electric, much simpler. Floor bed has been used as a truck, see photos. Needs a few cosmetics. No emissions, because 25 years old or older vehicles are exempt from them in Texas. Being that they are Classics, Only required in Texas is a Safety Inspection $12.00. A five year Texas Antique Plate for 5 years is $50.00. A great value. These Chevy trucks are climbing in value, and are great looking. The Truck now has a Clear Texas Title in my name.
