Vehicle description
I took it down for a minute after bidding because I could not edit it and noticed a mistake. There is a small amount of damage on the driver’s door that is hard to see from the pictures. Essentially, there is a crack in the fiberglass piece on the door. There isn’t damage to the underlying door, just the fiberglass trim. I did not wish to be disingenuous so I apologize to anyone who may have felt frustrated or offended by the removal and replacement of the ad. An all original 1990 Coupe Deville in Cotillion white. While leather interior and full cabriolet roof. It has the original roof and original engine. Even the dashboard has no cracks. The engine is in good working shape it has new oil, spark plugs, wire, distributor cap, rotor, and electronic control module. The only thing bad in the engine is one or two of the fuel injectors is either clogged or malfunctioning from an electronic perspective. Meaning that, while it drives just fine and high speeds are fine, it does misfire at idle and while cold. I had my mechanic check every aspect of the system, the air intake is clean, the fuel filters are clean and the 6 of the 8 valves were checked and had 0 percent pressure loss so this thing is working, but may need either fuel injector cleaner or a replacement for 2 of them. Drives well enough and even goes on the highway but the misfiring is very clear at idle/low speeds. Both windows work just fine, I had to replace a piece on the driver’s window to keep it on the track and now it’s perfect. The only feature that doesn’t work well is the radio. I think it’s set such that it always thinks there’s a cassette. Is otherwise in good working order. The only thing that doesn"t work is the radio, which displays but doesn"t make sound. It"s a beautiful southern car. From Nebraska but stored in a garage in VA for much of its life. I have the window sticker from when it was purchased, had about 2k in extra features. White wall tires with gold emblem on it. I have a replacement for the trunk trim but not the latch yet.
The paint is in good shape. There are some cracks showing in the color and she needs a good cleaning but I think she"d shine if you used a clay bar.
Practically rust free.
