Vehicle description
1990 Cadillac Coupe Deville 58,000 Miles
I bought this car from a retired sailor in South Carolina three years ago. It had been sitting for a while and was missing some panels. It had 42,000 miles on it then. Its been my daily driver ever since and I"ve had a lot of repairs done.
New Parts: Serpentine Belt Transmission Filter Plugs and Wires Wiring Harness Alternator Rear Struts Drive Belt Body Control Module Climate Control Module Idle Control Module Brake Calipers New Rotors Brake Hoses Passenger side CV Axle Shaft
Work Done: Coolant system flush Brake Flush Regular Oil Changes
The car initially had issues with the electronic AC/Heat display and wouldn"t idle properly. I replaced all the control modules (Fuel, Body and Climate) and put in a new Idle Control module. Heritage Cadillac in Lombard Illinois did the "Relearn" programming for the car, and ever since it has run great, with no electrical problems. Heat and AC always work and the car idles at the right speed.
Overall the car runs great and I don"t hesitate to take it on long drives or road trips. With 58,000 miles (documented in service records) this is still a low miles example of the last generation of full size GM Coupes. The paint is not perfect, it sat in the sun for a few years so its a bit faded. But being from the South, it has no rust. All work has been professionally done and is documented in service records that come with the car. Car comes with 5 original Cadillac Wire Hubcaps with locknuts and key wrench. Also comes with both rear fender skirts that match the car, in case you want to convert it to a Fleetwood Coupe. Interior is in great condition. No holes or marks with the exception of the wear on the Cadillac Crest on the drivers side seat.
