I bought this car in 2019 in Anderson SC. It had been sitting for some time, it was owned by a Navy Veteran, it had fishing tackle on the dashboard. It had the rear quarter panel trim missing and a aftermarket grille on it, but was in good shape and had 48k miles on the odometer. I drove it home to Augusta and made it my daily driver. This is what I"ve done to it:
New Parts: Original Cadillac Grille 4 New Firestone All Season Tires Alignment Serpentine Belt Replace Coolant Flush Transmission FIlter Replacement New Plugs and Wires All new lube Brake Flush New Rear Struts (Both) New Drive Belt New Body Control Module New Climate Control Module New Alternator New Wiring Harness New Alternator Connector and Clip New Brake Pads New Rotors New Brake Banjo Bolt New Brake Calipers New Brake Hoses New CV Axel Shaft Right Side New CV Boot Covers Both Sides New Window Assembly Both Sides Its had oil changes every 3k Miles like clockwork
All this work is documented in service records that come with the car. I also have multiple spare Body Control Modules, Climate Control Modules and Fuel Data Centers that all come with the car.
It is an all mechanically new car and runs great. It"s really a Cadillac with a V8 and 57k miles on it. It lived its entire life in SC and never saw snow. It has no rust on it and the frame looks great. I have recently moved to Chicago, it has not seen winter up here yet. This is a great car and will last as a daily driver for years to come. The paint is faded in spots, it sat in the southern sun for many years and it shows. The quarter top is in great shape. The drivers side rear quarter panel moulding was stolen off of it before I bought it, but I have a spare one, I have not put it on the car but it will be part of the sale. The drivers side moulding was falling apart so I removed it, I bought a replacement but have not had time to put it on, it will be part of the sale as well. There are 2 holes in the front of the hood where the aftermarket nose was bolted on, when I took it off I sealed the metal to insure it will not rust but have not filled the holes. I have 2 sets of the original Cadillac Gold Keys, it comes with he original owners manual. Door locks and trunk lock work. Aftermarket stereo works great with full radio, CD and Aux. Carpets could benefit from a shampoo but have no tears. Red leather seats have some marks but no tears besides the wear on the Cadillac Symbol on the drivers side. It is not a show car, but it is a strong Cadillac in great shape with a lot of new parts that will last you for years.
57,000 Miles are documented through service records and I even have a picture of the title from SC before transfer.
