About this vehicle This 1989 Toyota 4Runner is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Refer to description Vehicle Details I’m selling a 1989 Toyota 4Runner 4WD manual with the legendary 22re. I have a stack of paperwork for work done in the last 5 years. This 4Runner is no garage queen or pavement princess, but is in pretty good shape for being 32 years old. There’s the exceedingly common rust bubbles over the wheel wells and some faded paint but looks great still. The important part, the frame is in EXCELLENT shape. There is not a single crack or hole in any area of the frame whatsoever. It actually still has most of the factory black frame coating in most areas. As for the interior it’s in good shape. The headliner is perfect and the dash only has one crack. The seats have obviously been heavily used but are still comfortable and is an easy thing to overlook in my opinion. The rear window motor went out, I do have a replacement motor that will come with the truck. You can still open and close the window with a crank I have set up, which allows you to use the tailgate and trunk for storage. Running and driving wise, this thing is an absolute blast and actually makes me look forward to driving again every time I get out. The heat will literally cook a drumstick, 4wd high and low work perfectly, the manual locking hubs turn freely and easily by hand. The tires have at least 70% tread all around and ride very comfortably. The clutch grabs perfect and all shifts are very smooth. It has plentiful amounts of power and has zero problems getting up to speed. It also has a factory sunroof and aftermarket radio which actually sounds amazing. It even has the classic vent windows as well.
