“It is road ready, with a clear title so you can drive it home. (See walk through / startup video below) Currently inspected till 1/2018 and will pass inspection again and at any time. The truck has fair cosmetics, not perfect and needs a few normal repairs, a tune up and some fresh fuel.Needs tuneup and alignment (pulls some to right) -- It has a very good and smooth shifting transmission and air conditioning that works after a recharge -- (it needs a refill needs a little fitting fixed) (has R134 already been converted and compressor is fine). It could also use to be driven more regularly (which is why I am selling) because the gas is getting stale. It also needs a top fuel tank o-ring seal (a $5 part, and labor to install) because it sometimes leaks a little if you top of the gas (the tank is fine and does not leak).”

Vehicle description

A 17ft, dually 1 ton Toyota, all aluminum cube truck, one of the last production years with the UHAUL style all aluminum body and attic. From 1989. These are the scarce desirable mini box trucks they stopped making many years ago- - it has a strong running 3.0 L V6 that can get up to 17 miles per gallon on the highway. And, it has had a few upgrades.
The truck is not perfect and needs a few normal repairs, a tune up and some fresh fuel. It is road ready, with a clear title so you can drive it home. Currently inspected till 1/2018 and will pass inspection again and at any time. The truck sits under trees - so it is presently a bit dirtier than these photos show - I will give it a wash and vacuum before it leaves to a new home : -)
Needs tuneup and alignment (pulls some to right) - It has a very good and smooth shifting transmission and air conditioning that works after a full recharge - (it needs a top off and needs a little fitting fixed) (has R134 already been converted and compressor is fine). It could also use to be driven more regularly (which is why I am selling) because the gas is getting stale. It also needs a top fuel tank o-ring seal (a $5 part, and labor to install) because it sometimes leaks a little if you top of the gas (the tank is fine and does not leak).
I have owned it more than 9 years and kept it in super roadworthy condition while only putting on about 2800 miles.
It was used for business purposes so was kept up on maintenance by local mechanics - this included all fresh synthetic transmission and oil, a new radiator, water pump, a new timing belt, exhaust gasket, and a full all around fresh set of heavy duty, special order 14" 10 ply truck tires a several years ago, that still look great (tread is full still).
A really nice truck that can carry tons including very long ladders, and you can stand up easily inside of it without hunching over- - it is a terrific work truck and drives like a much smaller vehicle, easier than a step van and is actually very easy to park! I have also made numerous upgrades including a rear backup camera. Cosmetically, it"s only in fair condition - - with a small fender bender (new fender under $50), in several blemishes here And there. It was driven little since it"s rental truck days and is in good repair. I have my receipts totaling several thousand in work and parts, and a full maintenance book from when it was a U-Haul vehicle.
