Vehicle description
This is a Austin Sebring replica of the 1962-1964 Austin Healy 3000. This car was built in 1989 on a Mustang II chassis. It has a 350 CI/ 290 HP Chevy V-8 / 350 Turbo Automatic transmission. Scary fast and runs great. It shows just over 19,000 miles on the odometer. It is impossible to drive this car and not get waived at and have people stop you to ask about it - a true show stopper.
I have had the car for 4 years and it sat in the garage. As of last week it has a brand new Edelbrock 600 Carb, air bag rear suspension, new front suspension and power steering assembly, battery and hoses. Has a top (worthless but it has one ), tonneau cover, and top cover (shown in picture) and all are in good condition. This is a California car with a CA title and never been titled in Texas. Texas does not like California titles and I got tired of the hassle. The car is not mint but is in good condition and would not require that much to get there.
These cars are rare but can be found on the internet selling for 16k to 29k. For today"s example see: Classic Cars for sale - Hemmings Motor News and type in "Austin Healy Sebring". It has two minor appearance flaws shown in the pics (missing wire hub cap and crack in the left front fender of the fiberglass body.
