Full interior rollcage and rock sliders tied to frame
Factory 60/40 rear seat Lizard skin heat and sound insulation on interior Rugged Radio VHF radio with intercom system and headsets Painless Wiring full chassis harness Premier Power Welder Utilitarian dash Power windows and door locks all function That’s a lot of hardcore equipment packed into one rig, but don’t think for a second that all of these modifications came at the expense of reliability or driveability. We wouldn’t hesitate to drive this vehicle across the country, and in fact last summer the vehicle was driven all the way to Alaska from Phoenix, Arizona. It has been driven to Northern California and Moab, not to mention a variety of places within its home state of Arizona. The number of miles on the chassis is unknown, but we guesstimate that the vehicle has been driven approximately 12,000 miles since it was built in the summer of 2018. Range Rover enthusiasts know British vehicles are not without their quirks, but we’ve done our best to eliminate virtually all of them. The troublesome engine and drivetrain has been replaced with reliable American components, while every inch of the internal factory wiring has been replaced with a much simpler and more reliable system. Basically you get all of the advantages of driving an iconic vehicle without all of the maintenance hassle. Those that appreciate the British quirks of these vehicles will be happy to know that the unique procedure required to open the doors remains.Anyone that has owned one of these Range Rovers will know what we’re talkingabout. Any highly customized vehicle will have some things that some might find objectionable. We want to be as transparent as possible, so here are the know issues / quirks: E-brake does not function very well Fuel gauge is functional but reads backwards
Various scratches, dents, and other cosmetic wounds from trail use (see photos) Various fading of components from Arizona sun Paint is good from afar but far from perfect
No speedometer or odometer (we use an app on our phone) No gauges other than the Cummins Murphy gauge that keeps track of all vitals Very basic dash arrangement Stock heater box is installed but the heater core leaks and is currently bypassed Cracked driver side mirror assembly Stars in windshield but no cracks Passenger front door latch is cracked and lock tumbler is missing
Previously mentioned quirky door latches inherent to Range Rover Classics No interior carpet Emissions limitations* (see below) * Emissions information As mentioned, this vehicle is equipped with a Cummins R2.8Turbodiesel engine. It is equipped with all of the Cummins-supplied emissions components, including the EGR and DPF. However, depending on the emissions laws in your state, it may be subject to additional inspections and / or a referee before it can be legally registered in your state. It is currently registered as a classic vehicle in Arizona, which requires a collector car policy but is also exempt from emissions. Collector car insurance (in Arizona) is very easy to get and affordable. Many other states have a classic vehicle policy similar to Arizona’s where vehicles that are 25 years and older are exempt, and many more don’t have any emissions requirements. Some states, like California, are very strict. No warranty is expressed or implied in regards to emissions compliance. Please, PLEASE verify what emissions laws might apply in your state PRIOR to bidding. Check Cummins website for additional information, or ask us and we’ll do our best to help. Sold as-is with no warranty. Buyer to arrange shipping if necessary. Non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours of auction end. Balance can be paid via certified funds or in cash in person. Vehicle and title will not be released until certified funds have cleared.
Clear title in hand. Questions? Feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
