1989 NISSAN S CARGO with 92k Kilometers or 57k Miles. Just imported by us to the US all paperwork and aggravation has been done, import fees, shipping, bonds, DOT etc. I am a licensed Florida dealer and intention was to start importing cars I bought this AND a 1991 Nissan Figaro as well as a test, if you think you can buy one cheaper and get it here yourself……good luck! Whatever you think it will cost you double or triple it! LOL This is the last time I import a car for my self this was a real pain! Any way this is a nice little car it runs and drives very well, the a/c is cold it runs drives and shifts just as it should. I just put 4 new tires on it on 3/3/21 they have 8 miles on them. The Nissan S - Cargo was a small retro-styled van manufactured by Nissan from 1989 to 1991, and originally marketed solely in Japan at their Nissan Cherry Stores. Nissan Cherry, was a series of subcompact cars which formed Nissan "s first front-wheel drive supermini model line. The closet thing in the US we had were Nissan pulsars in the early 1980’s. In fact, most part will interchange them so most parts are readily available, and there are sources in Europe and the UK and UK to buy any part you could need in, I replaced the windshield from England with no problem. The car is in particularly good shape almost all original paint. It has an aftermarket US model Android Stereo with Bluetooth internet ready and navigation and more. These were not available with many options, but it does have the large pull back sunroof which is very cool! I have driven cars costing 10X what this does, and nothing gets more thumbs up or more smile per gallon than this little car! I would not hesitate for a minute to drive this car anywhere as far as the condition or quality. That said this car has a tiny engine and about 70 hp, a tiny 3 speed automatic transmission with low gears and tiny 14” wheels. That means it is NOT fast at all. You want to run it 75 mph for 5 mins fine, but if you try to drive it 75 or 80 mph from Florida to Texas, I believe you will hurt the little car it is NOT meant for highway speeds. I run all over town with it is great for that, you live in a city and jump on the interstate for a few exits, fine but it is really meant for running around town doing lite deliveries for a flower shop or pizza delivers and such. If you own a business and want an eye-catching billboard for your shop this might just be the ticket for you!
