Amazing 1989 Mustang GT Convertible 41,434 Original Miles Survivor! Original Cabernet Red Paint Original Smoke Grey Interior 5.0 High Output V8 AT AC PS PB PW Power Top Bid to win, but please bid only if you can afford to pay within 3 days of auction"s end.
A genuine 41k mile survivor Mustang 5.0 GT convertible, garaged its entire life. How many are out there this well kept? Not many, that is for sure. Call Tim at with any questions. This is an amazing original 1989 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT Convertible in beautiful factory paint code 2H Cabernet Red paint with stunning original Smoke Grey vinyl bucket seat interior. This is a genuine, original-mile, original paint-and-interior survivor with only 41,434 miles. Loaded with Air Conditioning and full power options including windows. This was the top-of-the-line Mustang GT Convertible in 1989. Two owners since new, second owner purchased from the original owner with just over 12,000 miles on the odometer. The car still retains all its’ original sold-with documents including the owner’s manual and a half-dozen other pieces of literature. Original, unmodified, born-with 5.0 Liter High Output V-8 engine, automatic transmission, and 3.27:1 ratio rear end. The only non-original components I can find are larger, after-market Cobra-style 17” wheels with low profile tires, and an upgraded after-market radio (original radio included). The original paint still in absolutely beautiful condition, with only the most minor up-close paint swirl, light scratches, very small chips, etc. The original interior is also in just about as-new showroom condition. The GT bodywork is also just fantastic; in my opinion one of the best-looking body kits Ford ever produced. The engine starts easily, runs smoothly, and is powerful. The automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, etc. all work as they should, as does the air conditioning and power top. The original carpets are still in fantastic condition, and the car comes with matching floor mats. This was purchased as a special fair-weather driver, and stored indoor under cover. Driven regularly on sunny days to maintain proper mechanical condition, she runs and drives extremely well. Basically the car is what you’d expect from a low mile original well-kept vehicle. The original weather strip is still supple and like new throughout. The factory convertible top is still in very nice condition; not perfect, as the car was mostly stored with the top down. . there are a couple of very, very minor perforations as a result (pictured). Bright canvas, not faded. No rust at all in the car. The gauges, switches, motors, buttons, etc. all work as they should on the interior. I doubt you will ever find another early Fox body Mustang like this, with beautiful original paint, a nearly flawless original interior, original survivor engine bay and undercarriage, in excellent turn-key running and driving condition. As you can see, this Mustang is absolutely amazing Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection and export. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 32-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times. . ultimately the choice must be yours alone. Feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have.
