“This is a 95% restore job on a 1989 'Mini Thirty'. The only items that I have left to complete are putting on the original decals (full set included with sale), and trying to locate and install the original head unit for the stereo. I had not put the decals on because I was going to have them put on when I got the boot lid repainted because of the bubbling shown in the picture.”

Vehicle description

For sale is a 1989 "Mini Thirty". She has been 95% restored to keep the original look of the Thirty, but I did put a 1275cc engine in her and had her switched to left hand drive. The interior is all original and she was repainted in her proper color. I have a brand new decal kit that will come with the sale. I was holding off on putting the decals on because I wanted to get the boot lid repainted as you can see the bubbling in the pictures. The only other thing left to complete the full restore was to find the original stereo for the dash, but all of the ones I had found, the seller did not know the security code to make it work. The VIN is SAXXL2S1N20434782. I put the VIN that is on my title into eBay, but for some reason it was not accepted. This is why I had to list it as a 1980 outside of my write up. I have the clean title in hand.
I purchased the car in England and had her shipped to Italy, where I was stationed with the Navy. This has been a very fun car the entire time I have owned it. I have carried bikes and kayaks on top (rack now on my Estate) around the Italian country side, down the Amalfi coast, and zipped around narrow Italian road in her with no issues. In early 2017 I had her shipped to the United States, and I have had little time to play with her since I have been back. I am looking to sell due to this, and I want to throw a Hayabusa engine in my 1981 Mini Clubman Estate (see picture of both Minis together). I can guarantee whoever purchases this car will have a great time driving and showing her off around town. Street legal go-kart! ! Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
