“Excellent. Previous owner kept it garaged and seldom used (mostly for parades & auto showings). Very little body rust; all stock, all original parts (excluding aftermarket back-up camera in mirror)Rear windows (driver & passenger side) currently do not roll down, although the window motors can be heard spinning- the windows appear to have slipped off the window arm/gears (they are fully secured in the closed position for now)Radio backlighting does not illuminate, though the radio unit itself is 100% operational. Car starts every time, all through tough Ohio winter, though the fan belt can produce a loud squeaking noise until the vehicle warms up (3-5 mins).” |

Vehicle description
Selling my 1989 Grand Marquis Colony Park wagon. The previous owner kept this vehicle in storage and was only used ceremoniously (parades, auto shows). Car is in fantastic condition, both inside and out. Automatic headlights, power mirrors and windows, cruise control, A/C and heat, AM/FM radio + cassette. Refurbished headliner (installed by previous owner), super comfy velour seats, seating for up to 10 (6 adults + 4 children in pop-up inward facing stowaway seats in trunk). Classic vintage wood paneling, all original. Aftermarket back-up camera installed in rearview mirror. Car serviced by local Ford dealership in Fall 2017 (post-purchase car inspection + oil change). Not my daily driver. When driven minimally on weekends, starts up every time. Engine solid V8 lots of torque. Car was NOT my daily driver and was only occasionally driven weekends. Put < 1,500 miles since purchasing Summer of 2017. Hoping to pass this treasure of Americana on to someone who can enjoy it and care for it as I have - still turns heads everywhere I go! It has come to my attention there is a "Minor Issue" with the title listed. That minor issue is in regards to the odometer reading - this car was only equipped with a 5-digit odometer. The previous owner purchased the vehicle after it had presumably rolled over once, given the condition of the vehicle. Once it rolls past 99,999 is it marked on the title as "Exceeds Mechanical Limit" to indicate as such.
