You are bidding on a 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL. New navy blue soft top, new leather seats (2015), otherwise original and unrestored. All mechanically perfect, except cruise control amplifier needs to be replaced. A/C blows cold air and will freeze you out. Original, fully functional Becker Grand Prix stereo- hope you saved your favorite cassettes from the "80"s! Unlike many SLs that had the dash cluster bulbs removed, the ABS and SRS (drivers airbag and seat belt retractors) actually work. Engine timing chain, suspension, steering and brakes fully restored. Original hard top included. This car runs and drives like a dream! It"s a Euro classic you can live with and drive daily. Only selling because I"m driving 800 miles a week in my job now and some of it is off-road. Mileage may change because my wife and I frequently drive the car locally, like when we want to feel like Bobby and Pam Ewing on a fancy night out. Hemmings and Hagerty values for comparable 560SLs are well over $20,000. You can find them for less, but be prepared to dump lot of cash into making your cheap find as nice as this one.
