About this vehicle I purchased this 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL from an estate sale to restore, but my plans have changed. It is a clean southern car as shown in the pictures of the underside. As soon as I got it I performed maintenance service on it to include an oil and filter change, a transmission fluid and filter change, changed fuel filter, Installed new spark plugs and wires, replaced worn drivers side tie rod, and installed new tires. It runs drives and shifts normal. There is a noise/vibration at 60+ MPH That I have not diagnosed and the vehicle needs an alignment. It drives straight but the steering wheel is off center. The aftermarket stereo work and appears to be professionally installed. Cosmetically it shows like a well taken care of 31 year old car. The paint is faded on top. My plan was to have it repainted above the pinstripe. There is a rub mark on the passenger side rear door. Please look at all the pictures. Any used car I recommend an inspection to be performed before purchase. I will facilitate any inspections requested. In the Seller’s note I will include some items that I have noted during my inspection.

Some condition items noted: Inside mirror cover on inside passenger side door missing and cup holder broken, Passenger rear window does not roll down from the console mounted switch only the door, passenger side rear door is missing the light at the bottom and the check link is broken, Driver’s side inside mirror cover tab broken and cup holder broken, cruise control inoperative, Both sun-visor clips broken, the Seat belt warning on the overhead console stays illuminated with the car on, the driver side rear floor mat is missing and the passenger side rear is the wrong color, the carpet is deformed at the console and the switch cover is broken.
