I am the second owner of this rust free, low mileage pristine 1989 Jaguar XJS convertible since 2002. Original owner purchased and drove car in Southern California.
The first person who sees this car will purchase without a doubt. It"s that nice and priced right considering overall condition.
Have purchase invoice, repair receipts, all user and repair manuals. This pristine beauty has never been in snow. I always stored it in a climate controlled storage facility each winter. Always garaged when not driven.Purchase includes a custom made flannel vehicle cover The paint color is called Satin Beige and it shines like a brand new car. Recently waxed. This pampered Jaguar XJS has been meticulously maintained and it shows. Everything works like it should, except for the cruise control. The top has been replaced under my ownership and it goes up and down as it should. I made some engineering improvements: A high performance Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans replaced the original radiator and mechanical fan setup. Th.e result is a XJS that does not overheat, perhaps unlike other cars for sale. One need be careful. as these cars can tend to overheat when radiator and mechanical fan setup are not tip to p due to age and lack of sufficient maintenance. Should your vehicle overheat and drop a valve seat, you will need a new engine Also various engine seals have been replaced. Fuel injection hose has been replaced. My Jag will not suffer a possible engine fire, as are possible in cars less maintained. Last summer the air conditioning system was rebuilt and converted to use R134A coo lent, as is commonly used in new cars. Put in new battery a few months ago. I am selling because I am 63 and suffered a stroke that makes entry and exit from car somewhat difficult for me. But for my ill health and age, I would otherwise keep this vehicle the rest of my life! The car sports 17 inch chrome Jaguar Revolver wheels and has new matching tires. This is a numbers matching car. Scammers need not respond. I am wise to all scammer deceits in scammer playbook. This is a fantastic 1989 Jaguar XJS factory original convertible that undoubtedly will be the pride and joy of its next owner .Leather, carpets, and chrome like new. Original factory stock wheels are available upon request. .There are many others for sale for less money that are not bargains, as they certainly will require major reconditioning. This car appraised for $20,000.
