Vehicle description
1989 Jaguar XJS V12 with 34,739 original miles. My Dad is the second owner of this car and we drove it in the mid to late 1990’s and then parked it in the garage where it has been since 1999. It is 100% original with no accidents and all original paint. Although not driven for any distance for a long time it does run and drive. The paint, body and interior are in great shape. This car has basically been untouched for the last 20 years. I have it on the trailer because the registration is not current and we had to move it from the garage. We are ready to let it go to a new home so make us an offer we can"t refuse! Thanks for your interest!
Just to be clear so there are not any misconceptions, you can jump in this car today and probably drive across town and back, but it has been literally sitting in the garage and has not been driven any distance more than a mile or two for almost 20 years. Once in a great while, my Dad would start it up and drive it around the block to keep the battery charged. We recently replaced the battery, but the car obviously needs to be registered and definitely needs some work like changing fluids and I would probably change the shocks as at least one has worn rubber and rattles. Also, the tires look good to the eye, but they have been sitting as well and I"m not sure I would trust them at any higher speeds. If you are familiar with Jaguars and now how to work on them or have someone that does work for you, then you can spend a little money and get it the way you like it. It starts, it runs and idles fine, no known fuel issues. The water pump was replaced years ago. My mom got a new car around 1999-2000 and we just parked this one and let it sit for no good reason. Now it"s time to let it go and it is a pretty car that is all original paint, no accidents. There is one small dent in the R. Front fender that I literally can"t get a picture to actually show you because it"s that hard to see. You have to look directly at it and know you are looking for something to really see it. It was there when we bought it and since there was no real damage or anything to the paint, we opted to leave it alone. I"m happy to answer any other questions you may have and we would love to sell it to you if you are interested so make us an offer and thanks for your interest.
