Vehicle description
(423) 506-8987 (423) 252-1305 1989 HUMMER H1 MILITARY HUMVEE Exterior Color: TAN Interior Color: TAN Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: 4 X 4 Engine: 6.5 Mileage: 34,072 THIS H1 HUMMER OR MILITARY HUMMVEE. This Hummer starts good, run good, stops good, lights work, transmission shifts good, body solid and never wrecked. VIN is 058881 Vehicle Description THIS IS A MILITARY M998 HUMVEE or you can call it a H1 HUMMER. It"s was made by AM General Corp for our military. We have 6 full doors, 4 each 1/2 doors and a soft canvas top and frame.
HOW IS THE TITLE? I have a good Tennessee title in hand and it signed off correctly. The VIN on the title does match the plate on the Humvee.
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! ONE MARKER LIGHT BULB IS SHOT! GAUGES WORK! HEATER WORKS! WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! FUEL GAUGE WORKS! When it reads empty you are really empty! HORN IS NOT WORKING!
HOW IS THE BODY? Its in excellent condition, its made with rust resistant aluminum metal, the frame is steel.
HOW IS THE ENGINE? I"m pretty sure its the 6.5 liter diesel and it has a Turbo. It starts good, runs good and I don"t see any leaks at all.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Looks like the tuff GM Turbo 400. That"s a 3 speed automatic, it shifts good with no slips.
HOW IS THE TIRES? They look like new, they are made by Goodyear and show no dry cracks.
HOW DOES IT DRIVE? To me it drives very good, it is power steering.
HOW FAST WILL IT GO? Specs say 70 mile per hour.
HOW DOES IT STOP? It stops great for a 5000 lb vehicle. It has 4 wheel disc brakes, they are power and the parking brake works.
HOW IS THE PAINT? It"s tan sand color with a matt finish. Paint would be considered good for camouflage, it would be considered weak for a show car job. You could paint it black and ask over $60,000 like a lot I see advertised. Look at the 96 pictures to judge the paint.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Its basic military style, I consider it good. No holes or rips in the seat cushions. Lot of up grades out there for sell!
WHERE IS HUMMER/HUMVEE LOCATED? We live in Athens, Tennessee 37303.
